Recently a gentle man had asked me is there anything that the US Military does not have in their arsenal that they may need in the future? He indicated that the US Military had all the weapons they would ever need. One has to laugh at such a statement as once a US Patent Office Bureaucrat had said; “Everything that will ever be invented has already been invented” and this was back about 100 years ago. Can you imagine if we had remained stagnant and the human race had never invented another new innovation?

So, I spend about 15 minutes and came up with some items that the US Military will need in the future but does not currently have. All I can think is what if I had given myself 2-hours of solid thinking on this concept?

But hey, don’t worry scientists are probably working on them, I thought. But in all kidding aside. You know really, I just sat down and wrote these. There must have 300-400 new concepts listed on my website and I get more each day. So finding something the US Military needs is not too hard. What they really need is a public, which supports our military to the fullest and which is not so caught up in liberalism that they understand the need for such. We are talking about humans here and our civilization and the future of our species has always been about strength. Until that changes, we need to be pressing on. Think on this.

In the period before internet and broadband when you required to hire computer games, you had to go out to the shop, search through shelf after shelf of titles before coming to the game you were after, and then race it back the next day in order to avoid having to pay late fees. With this state-of-the-art service for net computer game rentals these problems are thankfully done with. This innovative facility allows you the luxury to have fun playing your favored choices day in and day out bypassing these limitations and hassles. So to get the best from that subscription, here’s a selection of useful pointers for you.

Pick the Optimal online video game rental Subscription If you begin to rent video games on the via the WWW, you’re required to decide on the form of subscription you’ll want. You don’t want to opt for a modest package and run out of gaming time prior to the conclusion of the rental period; yet you should obviously avoid spending more than you can afford to, as well. First, decide how many games and how much usage you will likely require each week. Then, look at the special benefits in any of the suppliers offers. Often you can acquire an open-ended deal or opt for the choice that allows you to hold on to the titles for as long as possible. This makes the increased expenditure on a monthly subscription well worth your while.

Make A List Of Your Top Online Game Rentals

You will see that, on uncommon occasion, purveyors of online game rentals have all copies of a specific title out on loan, especially in the case of highly popular or rare titles. To avoid a disruption in the services, make a list of games you’d like to play and make sure that it is maintained up to date. This way, if the title at the top of your list is unavailable the provider can just send you the next available alternate title. If a title is renowned as being uncommon, begin your list with it to increase the chances of obtaining it as soon as possible.

We know that life on Earth does very well with plentiful water and oxygen. We have oceans and a very friendly atmosphere for life here. But what if all the tables were turned and what if we had seas of Methane instead, what would our life look like? It certainly would not have anything similar to mammals running around and the vegetation would certainly look drastically different. This is a rather interesting topic and it became a rather large discussion recently in an online think tank when one member stated;

“It is interesting to imagine a species that developed in a methane based environment, but is there a reason we should assume that such an setting would ever lead to life? It is possible that life itself is the result of very specific conditions. Maybe life would never evolve past a certain point? Certainly plants that evolve will look radically different and have very different chemical properties than those found on earth. These species, and the single celled organisms (which I have heard may exist even in deep space, nebulas and the like – a drifting ’spore cloud’ of the seed of life, maybe?) are going to be the foundation of evolution.”

Indeed there is life throughout the Universe and our own solar system and it maybe much different from much of the life we find here on Earth. And there also maybe some similarities as well to some of the life we find here. It makes sense for us to understand these facts as we explore what else is out there in the future. Consider this in 2006.

Have you ever wondered how an insect swarm works? How it maintains flight or how for instance a Locust Plague can be so devastating in such short periods of time and even travel 1000 miles in less than a week? Well one group in an online think tank recently asked these questions. One member stated;

“If air velocity increases, as I suspect it does, would it not stand to reason that each bee would have to expend MORE energy to maintain flight, not less? It would be like flying into a head wind. The ground speed is less to the exact speed of the head wind. We pretty much all are aware of this effect”

I think if you will figure in the rest of the concepts and actual airflows you will see how they do it and also take into consideration the ground cushion. Faster relative wind created by all the other units in the swarm increase efficiency of the wing. Just like the faster you go the more airflows over the wing of an aircraft, meaning more lift. Everyone wins in the swarm. Except the poor bastard who is the target; that is to say the attackee.

The inquiring member then states; “Some other element must play a part of the flight capability of the bee. I think that something is a sound wave, backpressure from sound energy that each bee creates with the beat of the wing

Well indeed this is why I am entertaining your line of thinking is that it is intriguing and a reasonable question. And as far as I am concerned, even if you are wrong, well I could care less because, I believe we could make a Mechanical Insect which did thus better natures design and exploiting sound as an additional tool.

Not only for flight, but for communication between MEMs or Micro-MAVs, as well as the sole power source by sending even BLOS sound waves to a point at which the micro-MAV swarm or SmartDust has been sent to. I am interested in this, way ahead of the screwing around with insects.

Sure lets learn what nature can teach us and never negate 400 million years of evolution of these fantastic creatures, but let’s build a better bug for other uses. Perhaps to interact with the bees to help them do their job better helping us pollinate the fields and we will build them better and safer starting structures from predators and weather for their honeycomb domiciles? Consider this in 2006.
